India developed so much in past few years and still growing so much in same term but there are so many problems that still we all have in our society. One of them is Situation and struggles of a girl in today’s life it was a biggest concern and if I am not wrong it still has one of biggest concern for our society. Today I will let you know about those topics. Have a look at these concerns. Hera are some women issues that they faces in daily and today’s life.
LIST OF THOSE TOPICS THAT WOMENS FACES IN TODAY’S LIFE THIS TOPIC SHOWS SITUATION AND STRUGGLES OF A GIRL IN TODAY’S LIFE.
1.gender inequality in education-All children deserve access to education, but girls have historically faced more discrimination. Progress has been made, but according to UNICEF, 129 million girls are still not in school. Reasons include poverty, gender-based violence, early marriage and a lack of safety, hygiene and sanitation resources. Low-income countries have the widest gaps, according to the World Bank. While the world average of girls enrolled in primary school is 88%, it’s 78% in low-income countries. This is situation and struggles of a girl in education sector.
ALL SAY WE ARE FREE BUT WE ARE NOT IN REAL TERMS
2. Gender Based Violence(this is a big women issue that should be solved)-Gender-based violence (GBV) refers to acts that cause (or are likely to cause) physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women. According to experts, over ⅓ of women and girls experience some kind of violence during their lifetimes. The risk increases during conflicts, natural disasters and other emergencies. Intimate partner violence is the most common form of GBV. Around 1 in 4 women have experienced physical and/or sexual violence from an intimate partner. While anyone can experience GBV, young people, older women, refugees, ethnic minorities and LGBTQ+ people are most vulnerable.
silence is violence
Women in the workplace-Almost every women face this problem
3.Unequal Pay- As i know for centuries, society has undervalued the work women perform. Women are even paid less than men for the same work. According to the International Labour Organization, there has been some progress, but gender wage gaps still exist and are widening in certain jobs. Gaps can’t be blamed on educational differences, which means that in most countries, men still earn more than women. Factors include gendered job segregation (women tend to dominate jobs with lower salaries) and unjust pay practices. According to data from Moody’s Analytics, the gender pay gap could be costing the economy as much as $7 trillion.
HARSH REALITY
4.Limited of freedom of movement– As I also learnt from education and from constitution freedom of movement is an individual’s right to live, travel and move within a country or between different countries. According to Human Rights Watch, many countries in the Middle East and North Africa still have laws requiring women to get permission from a male guardian before traveling abroad or even traveling within their own country. This violates a woman’s right to travel and increases her risk for exploitation and abuse. Activists had been fighting for more rights for years, and while some progress has been made, restrictive laws remain.
NO FREEDOM FOR US
5.Racial Injustice for womens– As we know we are talking about Situation and struggles of a girl all women face discrimination, but women belonging to ethnic minorities face compounded inequalities. According to expert groups like the UN, race and gender intersect in employment, housing, poverty and more. As an example, while no group of women makes the same wage as non-Hispanic white men in the United States, the gender wage gap is significantly wider for most women of color. Over a 40-year career, Hispanic women lose over $1 million in earnings, while Native women lose $986,000 and Black women lose $964,000.
STOP RACIAL INJUSTICE WITH US.
6.Period Poverty-As a girl I understand that period pain and period time is very difficult for all girls and womens.Periods are a fact of life for many people, but about 500 million women and girls don’t have the supplies they need, according to the OHCHR. “Period poverty” is defined as a lack of access to products, hygienic spaces, education and other resources. Along with feeling ashamed or embarrassed, a girl may experience violations of her human rights when her period comes. Early marriage, sexual violence, unintended pregnancy and disrupted education are some of the more serious effects.
period is painfull as a heart aatack
7.Inadequate maternal healthcare-As I have seem so many times Pregnancy and childbirth are inherently risky, but maternal healthcare is inadequate for many people. According to the WHO, almost 800 women died in 2020 from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. A striking 95% of these maternal deaths occurred in low and middle-income countries. 75% of deaths result from issues like severe bleeding, high blood pressure, infections and complications from delivery. These conditions are preventable and manageable with the proper care. So from this study we can understand what is the Situation and struggles of a girl.
pregancy difficulties
8.Human trafficking-All genders can be victims of human trafficking, but women and girls are especially vulnerable. According to research from 2017, girls and women made up 71% of all victims of trafficking. They also make up 96% of the victims trafficked for sexual exploitation. Causes of gendered trafficking include poverty, a lack of employment opportunities for women, limited access to education and gender-based violence. Conflict also makes women more vulnerable. This is the situation and struggles of a girl.

9.Food insecurity-As a girl I am also victime that Women face more food insecurity than men, Research from the World Food Programme identifies a few reasons why. The first is that women are more likely to live in extreme poverty. Globally, women earn just 77 cents for every dollar earned by men. Women also face unequal treatment during times of crisis and are more vulnerable to malnutrition during pregnancy. All these factors contribute to a lack of food security, which in turn negatively impacts other areas of a woman’s life. This is bad as we can not imagine Situation and struggles of a girl to get food.
Food insecurity
10.Online harrasment-As a eye victim Online harassment is hard to measure, but there’s little doubt it disproportionately affects women and girls. According to one study from Europe, women are 27 times more likely to experience online harassment than men. Online harassment has a terrorizing effect which damages a person’s mental health, discourages them from spending time online and frightens them away from other public spaces. Online harassment can also translate into real-life violence. This is the Situation and struggles of a girl on online flatforms.
Enough is Enough
As we can see how many problems womens faces in today’s life. This is just few points there are more issues which womens faces.
Now I am describing another point which is also very important but nobody talk about it.
Situation and Struggle of a girl in today’s life for rights in parent’s properties
In patriarchal society, it is often said that daughter is alien wealth. Her husband’s house is her original home. So that there is no division among the accumulated assets for the sons. Recently, the Supreme Court of India has made it clear that women have equal rights in the property of their parents
Now my second point is that how our society look at divorced women and struggle of a divorced women in our society.Situation and struggles of a girl and divorced women.
As we all know that our society has been ruled by men since the beginning of time. It allows men the chance to live life on their own, to make their own choices, but the same rules don’t apply to women. I feel society lives by the rule “men are always right”, but god forbid that women should be right too!
Don’t people feel men should always dominate, and women should let themselves be dominated? A man can walk out of marriage whenever he likes but a woman who considers leaving her marriage is questioned and stigmatised, whatever the circumstances. They are expected to suffer silently, even die, rather than get a divorce!
I would say a man doesn’t need permission for anything, a woman needs it for almost everything. But we forget that before women they are also human beings. If a man can walk out of a marriage, then so can a woman. In most cases, due to family pressure, women are unable to take a stand. Sorry but this is harsh reality of our society.
The legal process of divorce in India is governed by various personal laws, including the Hindu Marriage Act, Muslim Personal Law, and Christian Marriage Act, each with its own set of rules and procedures. Additionally, there are provisions under the Special Marriage Act for interfaith marriages and couples who wish to marry without following their respective religious customs. The divorce process can be hard to understand and takes a lot of time, which makes the mental toll it takes on everyone involved even worse.
Unpacking The Impact
Emotional Suffering
Emotional suffering is a common denominator in any divorce, and it affects both parties involved. The pain of ending a relationship, and the feelings of betrayal, anger, and resentment can be overwhelming. However, women in India often bear a more significant emotional burden due to societal expectations and the stigma associated with divorce. The fear of being labeled as ‘damaged goods’ or ‘unfit for remarriage’ can deter women from seeking divorce, even in abusive or unfulfilling marriages. this is harsh reality of our society and Situation and struggles of a girl.
divorced women is not shame
How long women will suffer to get equality ?
Ways to improve gender equality in society
I think that answer is change. we have need to change our mentality. Most specially men should change their mentality. we are also humans. we should treat like humans ,not as a object. onclusion. In India, feminism refers to a group of movements focused on defining, creating, and protecting equal political, economic, and social rights and opportunities for women. Within Indian society, it is the pursuit of women’s rights. This are basic and real situation and struggles of a girl in our society.
